Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment.

Classes
McGill Aikido is located in the McGill University Sports Complex in a new facility reserved for Martial Arts.
Classes are based on a Semester schedule with blocks of ten (10) weeks of two weekly sessions (2 & 3 hours) in the Fall and Winter, plus open training on Sundays.
Outside these training schedules, students are invited to practice at Montreal Aikikai, Canada’s first Aikido Dojo.
The Head-Instructor, Daniel Laurendeau, rokkudan (sixth degree black belt) is supported by Assistant-Instructors Eric Kimmel and Juan-Carlos Cruz, nidan, as well as Noah Weisbord, Marc Novakoff and Laurent Tantot, shodans.
Aikidokas of all styles and affiliation are welcome to join McGill Aikido, and it is with pleasure that we encourage visitors to come and train with us.
Please notify us at least two days in advance if you wish to attend a class, as arrangements need to be made with Campus Security.
If you want to learn more about the costs and facilities please refer to the website of McGill Athletics.
