McGill Aikido is located in the McGill University Sports Complex in a new facility reserved for Martial Arts.

Classes are based on a Semester schedule with blocks of ten (10) weeks in the Fall and Winter and a block of six (6) weeks in the Spring, of two weekly sessions (2 & 3 hours), plus open training on Sundays.

Outside these training schedules, students are invited to practice at Montreal Aikikai, Canada’s first Aikido Dojo.

The Head-Instructor, Daniel Laurendeau, rokudan (sixth degree black belt) is supported by Assistant-Instructors Eric Kimmel, sandan, and Juan-Carlos Cruz, sandan, as well as Noah Weisbord and Marc Novakoff, shodans.

Aikidokas of all styles and affiliation are welcome to join McGill Aikido, and it is with pleasure that we encourage visitors to come and train with us.
